Seated With Christ

Yesterday, I experienced a greater "apocalypse". A revelation, an unveiling, that broadened my understanding of what it means to be seated with Christ in heavenly places.


And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6


I love these moments of enlightenment! God is calling me to a place of greater understanding of His Word so I can share with the world. - Jeremiah 1:5


First, allow me to share, the enemy attempted to make me feel hopeless this morning by bringing a bad memory to my mind. A past moment that was intended to cause me to feel defeated rather than victorious. It was a time of triumph and one to be celebrated, but instead, the enemy wanted to douse my joy. The memory evoked a feeling of sadness. I immediately shook myself and reminded myself that my joy comes from the Lord, and that victory came from Him, too.


We must rebuke the enemy and then declare the truth!


We must rebuke the enemy in the authority of Christ, and then declare God’s truth over our lives, families, and situations. His Word is our weapon; His promises are our declaration. As Luke 10:19 reminds us, we have been given authority over the enemy, and when we speak God’s Word, we are speaking from heaven’s aerial view. We have the authority to call forth His will on earth as it is in heaven.


So, when I entered my devotion time, the Holy Spirit began to speak to me in this vein: The Spirit said, "You sit in heavenly places with Christ, and He can do exceedingly, abundantly, and above!" In the spiritual realm, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). But here’s the good news: we stand because Christ is seated above all of them. And we are seated with Christ! How marvelous is this! I don’t have to fight for it! I only have to stand in it because I am seated with Christ! The war is in the Spirit Realm, the host of angels will come help me!


Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

Psalms 20:2


God’s power works within us! The power that can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think. It first strengthens us with might by His Spirit in our inner being, transforming our hearts and aligning our will with His. The power that works in us enables us to call forth His promises on earth as they are in heaven. When we pray, bind, and lose, we must do so in alignment with Him and not our "will"! Knowing we are standing, moving, and living from the seat of victory that He has already given to us.


For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

Acts 17:28


I, We, are a part of God’s household! (Ephesians 2:19) We have been given access to the house. Now, think about it, you, we, are welcome in the House! We can freely drink the milk and taste the honey. It’s our inheritance! We are no longer strangers, but heirs and joint heirs.


Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Ephesians 2:19


Today, my prayer is to now, from this moment forward, to live and move with the knowledge that I sit in the realm of the Exceedingly, Abundantly, and Above! To live every day knowing that I have full access to the heavenly realm, as a member of the Household of God! And that all of Heaven is working for me!


Understanding that as I am being transformed, I am yielding and surrendering to the thoughts and plans God has for me. And as I do so, I can reach for them and ask and declare for His Will, His ordained plans, to be done in my life as they already are in Heaven. The way for me has already been MADE! This heavenly alignment and the given authority I have in Christ will bring God’s Will in Heaven to me and be manifested in my life!


The life and promises for me in this earthly realm! A life of Victory! Seated with Christ!
