Dear Young Pam,

PAMELA NOW & AGE 12 - EAST JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1982 - BLYTHEVILLE, ARKANSAS

I see you! The quiet girl who often doubted her worth felt the weight of uncertainty and wondered if she would ever find her place. You always knew there was more to life, but the path ahead seemed hidden behind challenges, fear, and the need for approval.

But let me tell you, you make it!

Not only do you find yourself, but you discover a purpose so much greater than you ever imagined. Even though you have always heard God calling you, at 22, you find the courage to say YES!

You will enjoy the beauty of motherhood at 17. Being a mother will be one of the greatest joys of your life.

I want to encourage you not to worry even though I know you will. But I promise that every struggle, every tear, every moment of uncertainty was shaping you into the woman you are still becoming. You will learn that your value isn’t determined by the opinions of others but by the One who created you.

By 50, you become determined to align yourself with the thoughts that God has of you. Wow! This takes you on a journey of self-discovery. You will finally become the published author your mother prophesied that you would be.

At 54, you stand strong! With a few degrees and an honorary doctorate under your belt, you discover another level of confidence. You learn that validation from others won't always be there, but walking in God's plan for you and seeking only to please Him is freedom like you have never known. You will go from Pam to Pamela.

You will be blessed beyond measure with a loving family, children, and grandchildren who remind you daily of the legacy you are building. A legacy of faith, perseverance, a thirst for learning, and courage. Because of the steps you continue to take, they will have a foundation to boldly chase their destiny, reminding them to think boundless and limitless; because God is Boundless and Limitless! You will teach them to love God and listen and obey His Voice.

So, hold your head high, young one. The road ahead may not always be easy, but trust me, it leads to a life filled with purpose, love, and impact. Keep believing, keep learning, and keep moving forward. The Best is Yet to Come.

With Love,

Your Older, Wiser, and Stronger Self
